This book contains a number of directions for simple starter weaves: use nails on a good piece of wood, take willow for a twined weave or old ice lolly sticks to make your own rigid heddle. The reader is taken through the steps of calculating for a weave on a simple table loom. There are a range of examples of easy, fun beginner weaves.
